I welcome you to the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Language Center.

The Language Center at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is concerned with implementing the Institute's linguistic mission and contributing to enhancing communication between the Institute and international academic institutions. The institute adopts Arabic as a primary language for study and research. It also adopts the English language as a parallel language and supports the capabilities of its students and staff to use it in research.

The Language Center offers its students specialized courses in Arabic for academic purposes. The Center also offers the Institute's employees training courses in Arabic for professional purposes, to enhance efficiency in the use of Arabic, and to implement the official policy of the state. In addition, the center offers courses in Arabic for non-native speakers or those who are interested in it, in general, starting from the academic year 2019-2020: the center is activating its linguistic and cultural program for international students wishing to join the institute and benefit from its academic programs: the Doha Fellowship for the Study of Arabic and Social Sciences.

The center offers intensive courses in English for academic purposes to develop the general competence of its students and support their linguistic and cultural abilities to benefit from international intellectual production in their fields of specialization.
