Human Subject Research Protection Program

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The DI is committed to objectivity, integrity, and ethics in research, and implements policies for that purpose in line with applicable regulations and international best practices. The DI maintains an active Assurance with the Qatar Ministry of Public H​ealth (MOPH) regarding the protection of human subjects in research. The DI's Institutional Review Board (DI-IRB) Registration number is MOPH-DI-IRB-012. ​

Any human subject research to be conducted or supported by DI faculty, staff, or students, must be approved by the IRB before proceeding with the activity.
