The DI is committed to objectivity, integrity and ethics in research, and implements policies for that purpose in line with applicable regulations and international best practices.
The DI maintains an active Assurance with the Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) regarding the protection of human subjects in research. The DI's IRB Registration number is MOPH-DI-IRB-012.
Any human subject research to be conducted or supported by DI faculty, staff or students, must be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) before proceeding with the activity.
