Faculty Research Fund​​

Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) core faculty whose contractual duties include the conduct of research will be allocated an annual research budget to assist the conduct of their research. The Faculty Research Fund may be used for costs associated with such purposes as: participation in conferences (presenting, or chairing panels); attending board meetings of subject associations; fieldwork (such as visiting archives and libraries, conducting interviews, conducting surveys or market research); and other activities that contribute to the research knowledge production.

Major Research Fund 

The Major Research Fund provides internal funding for individual and collaborative projects in which Doha Institute for Graduate Studies faculty act as Lead Principal Investigators (LPI). It can be used for seed funding to develop proposals for larger external grants. Funding will cover research assistant/student time, special equipment purchases, surveys, translation or editing services, publication costs and travel. Awards will be adjudicated approximately once per academic year on a competitive basis by the DI Research Committee.

Student Research Fund 

The DI allocates a fund for student research activities. The awards are granted on a competitive basis.
