Titled "COVID-19 vaccines: feasibility, implications, and prospects," a lecture was presented by the Director of Communicable Disease Center (CDC) at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Dr. Muna Al Maslamani, highlighting the importance of the vaccines.
The event was held virtually through Zoom platform and moderated by Mr. Ali Menadi Al Kaabi, Director of Communication and External Relations Department at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI).
Dr. Al Maslamani gave a brief history of the timeframe for vaccination, explaining that in the 1970s routine vaccination was introduced worldwide, as an essential part of national immunization programs, which in turn helped to combat disease in many countries around the world. to types of vaccines and its length of the licensing process.
