The Office of Registration, Admissions and Student Affairs at the Doha Institute (DI) has announced the admission of 232 Master’s students for the next academic year (2018-2019). The students were selected from 2948 applicants from the Arab region and worldwide.

The admitted students will enroll in 16 different Master’s programs offered by the Doha Institute. 99 students were admitted to the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, 81 to the School of Public Administration and Development Economics, 23 to the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies, and 29 to the School of Psychology and Social Work.

All applications for admission to the programs of the DI were subject to a thorough examination and assessment, which included interviews conducted with DI professors. The students were selected on the basis of their outstanding academic achievements during their undergraduate studies, proficiency in Arabic and English, knowledge in the area of specialization, and contribution to the service of their community. Qatar was at the top of the list of admitted students with a total number of 82 Qatari students, 35 per cent of the students admitted.

The courses will start on September 23, 2018 and the admission to the new academic year 2018-2019 will open on October 1, 2018. This is the fourth cohort of students admitted to the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. The first cohort of students started their graduate studies at the DI in 2015 .
