​​The Library will offer its services to the students, faculty and resident researchers of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. 

The Library adopts a Dewey Decimal Classification system in the shelving of its books​ and it is located in the middle ​of the campus and consists of four levels:

- First Flour: Circulation area, reading room and 4 study group rooms

- Mezzanine 1:  Contains shelves from 000-339

- Second Flour: Contains shelves from 340-899 and reading room 

- Mezzanine 2: Contains shelves from 900-999

The Library's collections contain more than 36.000 titles and more than 80 academic journals.  The books and other reference works within the collection cover the disciplines of philosophy, religion, political sciences, history, languages and linguistics, literature, administration and management, law, economics and media studies. The library users will have access to the library catalogue through an online search portal in Arabic, English and French. The journals collection is located on the ground floor, and is arranged by title. Finally, the collection also contains a selection of the most significant and influential newspapers and other periodicals from across the globe.

In addition, the Library provides access to over 160 databases and portals to academic publishers, made possible through the services provided by Qatar National Library to the academic and research communities within the country; the library has an institutional subscription to these databases, and also assists its readers in obtaining individual access accounts.  Visitors to the library will have access to the freely available wireless internet service.
