Tariq Dana
Associate Professor, Head of Program

Dr. Tariq Dana is an associate professor and Head of conflict and humanitarian studies Program at Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University, Qatar. He was the director of the Center for Development Studies at Birzeit University and a senior research fellow at Ibrahim Abu-Logoud Institute of International Studies, the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and the School of Oriental and African Studies. He is also a policy advisor for the Palestinian Policy Network (Al-Shabaka).

His research interest includes political economy, civil society, state-building and state-society relations, and settler-colonial studies with a particular focus on Palestine and the broader Arab Middle East.
